i’ve been having a difficult/stressful/exhausting time at work lately, so, i’m gonna go ahead and do a work appreciation post because dog damn i love my fucking job!

last june was a super black pit of shit for me. my bicycle was being repaired from being doored, my job FUCKING SUCKED and was ripping me off HARDCORE, &my ex had just broken up with me. literally two of my favorite things and my favorite person had been ripped out from under me and i felt like dogshit and didn’t want to wake up. i had horrible plans that i’m super stoked i didn’t go through with-it was just an absolute mess. meanwhile, my room mate had been telling me about this job at pthd. i was brushing it under the carpet because i’d been trying to get a job at a makeup counter so i could transfer to fl when i was planning on moving, but, i kept on going to interviews/keeping in touch with the manager anyway. because i needed a new job so, why not? if i didn’t want it i could always say no.

I GET THE JOB!
it felt great woop woop this super babe loves me and wants me to work for his company, perfect!
i start the job.

i LOVE it. everything.

my coworkers are amazing inside and out(remember when my bike got stolen? yeah, they PAID FOR A NEW ONE), are SO talented and SO willing to teach and help. our clients are fucking crazy sometimes, but oh my god are they sweet and kind as well(do the people you work with/your customers bring you breakfast?)! my skill exceeds at least weekly and i’ve learned more than ever before. every day i get to make people feel better about themselves and put them in good moods. every day i get to learn and create and grow…but really, and i’m gonna get super sappy but i don’t give a fuck, I LOVE MAKING PEOPLE HAPPY!!! it’s extremely gratifying to know that, even on your not so best days you can make someone else smile even if you can’t yourself. if you come and sit into my chair, you are the number one focus of my attention and i’m going to babify you like you’ve never been babified! haircutes by alina hunny!!! i treat people like prince(ss)’s and they know it and they’re so grateful. its just a complete posi circle.
